Business Development Assistant
Help us find and connect with the right founders and SMEs — researching prospects, supporting outreach and keeping our pipeline in order.
About Intellr Studio
Intellr Studio is a sustainability-first product and technology consultancy helping pre-seed to Series A founders and SMEs build products that last. We work across four service lines — Strategy, Build, Govern and Scale — and we’re building our own products too, including Founders Access and ASKR.
We’re early, ambitious and building in public. We’re looking for people who want to grow with us from the ground floor.
The role
This is a flexible, part-time role rewarded with equity. It suits someone early in a sales, marketing or business development career, or looking to break into startups, who wants hands-on experience and a stake in what they help grow.
What you’ll do
Research prospects
Build and maintain lists of founders and SMEs who fit our services, from pre-seed to Series A, with the context we need to reach out well.
Support outreach
Draft and send personalised outreach by email and LinkedIn, and follow up so no promising conversation goes quiet.
Prepare for discovery calls
Pull together background on each prospect so every first conversation starts informed and focused on their needs.
Keep the pipeline organised
Update our CRM, log conversations and next steps, and keep a clear view of who we are talking to and where things stand.
What we’re looking for
- Organised and detail-minded, with reliable follow-through
- A clear, friendly writing style
- Curiosity about startups, tech or sustainability
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, LinkedIn and basic CRM tools
- Self-directed, comfortable working asynchronously with light-touch check-ins
Nice to have
- Some sales, business development, recruitment or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or HubSpot
What you’ll get
- 0.25% equity in Intellr Studio, vesting over two years with a six-month cliff
- Hands-on business development experience, learning directly from the founder
- Exposure to founders, investors and early-stage product work
- Flexible, remote working that fits around your other commitments
- The chance to grow the role as the studio grows
Send your CV and a short video
Outreach is about making a good first impression, so we’d rather see you than read a cover letter.
Record a short video
Two minutes or less. Phone camera is fine — we’re interested in what you say, not production value.
Prepare your CV
A PDF CV, plus a LinkedIn link and anything that shows how you research, write or organise.
Email us both
Send your CV and a link to your video to hello@intellrstudio.com with the role title in the subject line.
What to cover in your video
Share it as a link — Loom, an unlisted YouTube video or a Google Drive file with viewing access — rather than an attachment, so it reaches us without bouncing.
- Who you are and why this role interests you
- A time you researched or reached out to someone to make something happen
- One type of business you think we should be talking to, and why
